Polar Blast Chiller

This Polar DN493-02 is a commercial 18kg blast chiller and freezer designed to rapidly lower food temperatures safely out of the “danger zone”. It complies with commercial food safety regulations by chilling hot food from +70°C to +3°C within 90 minutes. It can also freeze food down to -18°C within 240 minutes. The unit features an integrated control panel that displays the internal cabinet temperature (in red) and the food insert probe temperature (in yellow). “Soft” mode gently cools delicate foods (like pastries or vegetables) without damaging textures. “Hard” mode utilizes rapid, forced-air cooling for dense or high-fat foods (such as large joints of meat). Once a chilling or freezing cycle finishes, the device automatically shifts to a holding pattern. This allows it to safely function as a standard refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to move the stock. SKU: RHC9611
